- Career Management: Provides career development support to members during monthly group meetings featuring guest speakers. More information: info@hra-nca.org
- College Relations and Scholarships: Supports SHRM student chapter programs and awards scholarships to SHRM student members pursuing HR degrees at colleges and universities in the Washington, DC area. More information: Education@hra-nca.org.

- E-news: Provides ideas, content, and methods for ways the chapter can better communicate, including assistance on the semi-monthly e-newsletter. More information: Communications@hra-nca.org.
- Job Seekers Group: Provides job search support to individuals actively seeking employment. More information: info@hra-nca.org.
- Mentoring Committee: Coordinates the pairing of experienced HR professionals with professionals seeking to develop their HR knowledge and skills; supports mentoring relationships; recruits mentors willing to develop others in various HR functions. More information: Education@hra-nca.org.
- Legislative: Coordinates legislative letter-writing to appropriate Members of Congress and follows pending legislation; assists in reporting to HRA members. More information: Legislative@hra-nca.org.
- Membership: Proposes, develops, and implements creative methods and sources for attracting and retaining members. More information: Membership@hra-nca.org.
- Professional Development: Develops topics and coordinates educational seminars for HR professionals. More information: Programs@hra-nca.org.
- Programs: Coordinates monthly HRA-NCA program logistics and suggests topics and speakers for future events. More information: Programs@hra-nca.org.
- Public Relations and Marketing: Seeks ways to market all HRA-NCA has to offer to HRA-NCA members, unaffiliated SHRM members, and other interested members of the DC Metro HR community. More information: PR-Marketing@hra-nca.org
- Volunteers: Coordinates the member volunteers and liaisons with Board members overseeing committees; assists with recruitment activities. More information: Membership@hra-nca.org.

- Workforce Advocacy: Coordinates multiple skills-based volunteer events designed to strengthen the capacity of the nonprofit organizations that assist the diverse unemployed and underemployed populations of the National Capital Area enter the workforce. More information: info@hra-nca.org.
