This year we've made substantial improvements to the Compensation Survey. We've introduced JOB LEVELING, which means you'll be able to better match your jobs to the survey jobs. There is now a consistent leveling of jobs, in three categories: Management, Professional, and Staff. Jobs are now organized into Job Families, and Job Families are organized into Job Tracks (Subfamilies).
You can download a complete 2011 participation package here.
We've also added new sections to the Benefits Survey on the impact of new health care legislation -- the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).
BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATING IN THE SURVEY:
HRA-NCA SURVEY NEWS: At the end of February, HRA-NCA kicked off the launch of the 2011 HRA-NCA Compensation and Benefits Surveys by hosting two free participation events, a seminar and webinar. Together, over 150 professionals took advantage of these events to find out more about the new and improve changes to the survey products. In response to specific requests from the local compensation professionals community, the 2011 Compensation Survey was upgraded to a standardized job leveling architecture, which includes more jobs for matching. Job leveling provides additional details and occupations to help participants match jobs to their current organizational structure more easily.
Members of the Compensation Committee led the attendees through the processes, changes and provided participation tips, such as, essential information on how to perform the job matching, and helpful info on data submission. Attendees were led through two job matching exercises to acquaint them with the new structure. The programs were very well received and HRA-NCA is looking forward to producing these comprehensive resources for the 32nd year.
The 31st Annual edition of the HRA-NCA Compensation Survey Report has been released and is ready for delivery. The 2010 Compensation Survey is the most comprehensive survey in the region. GC Survey contents include approximately 280 jobs reported by over 100 employers with the same statistical categories reported above. The survey was expanded to include data on 13 compensation policies and practices. This product is specifically designed for companies interested in GC benchmarks and data.
