During the Obama Administration, the National Labor Relations Board established numerous new precedents adversely impacting employers. With a newly confirmed Republican-majority, a new General Counsel and a new mindset, in 2018, the Board may revisit many of these issues. A memorandum issued by the recently confirmed new General Counsel confirms that many Obama-era precedents will be reviewed and could be reversed. These include joint employment, use of company email systems, employer handbook rules and other issues arising under the National Labor Relations Act. This webinar will address these and many other issues and equip employers to understand the potential impact on their employees and workplace.
