Senior Human Resources Consultant
In this role, you will consult with management on Labor Relations, Employee Relations, HR Policy, and Equal Employment Opportunity issues. You will ensure that all human resources practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, labor contracts, and relevant statues. You will also be responsible for coordinating the work of other human resources consultants on your assigned team and for consulting with managers regarding the human resources aspects of key business objectives including performance management and restructuring activities within business units served.
Qualifications include:
· A bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on human resources or labor relations (preferred), related field, or equivalent work experience in the field of human resource consulting and/or management
· Extensive knowledge of labor relations and employment law and regulations
· At lease seven years of experience in human resources consulting and/or human resource management, preferably within a union environment
· Proficiency in human resources policy understanding and interpretation
