So Others Might Eat, a leading non-profit in Washington, DC is looking for a Benefits Manager to join its dynamic team of HR professionals. The ideal candidate must be able to handle vast amounts of paper work, handle a high degree of confidentiality, possess the ability to coordinate benefits for 260+ employees, superior customer service, and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization as well as outside brokers/agents.

Location: Main Campus, 60 O Street, N.W. Washington, DC 20001
Position: Benefits Manager
Status: Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly
Function: Responsible for the administration of all employee benefits. Develops cost control procedures to assure maximum coverage at the least possible cost. Provides superior customer service to SOME's employees and maintains confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications: An Associate’s degree and four (4) years experience in Benefits Administration, or a Bachelor's degree and two (2) years experience in Benefits Administration or any appropriate combination of education and experience; PHR Certification preferred; and Valid driver's license preferred.
Skills / Abilities: Excellent Interpersonal skills; strong working knowledge of benefits, policies, and procedures; good verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented, and computer literate. Candidate should also possess the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
