Services for Job Seekers
Out of work? HRA-NCA is here to help. Visit our Career Management Program page and look into attending these informative and helpful programs. In addition, you may want to join the Job Seekers Group, an informal networking group that meets periodically for mutual information and support. Check the Events page for upcoming get-togethers. At our monthly Speaker Series/Chapter Meetings we encourage anyone searching for a job to stand up and introduce themselves and say what they are looking for AND we ask employers with openings to stand up and announce the openings they have.
The HRA-NCA Job Seekers Group (JSG) is one of the many advantageous activities offered by HRA-NCA. Are you out of work? Looking for support or ideas regarding your career? Perhaps you are seeking a new and challenging position or even a career makeover? You are not alone! Typically once or twice monthly, HRA-NCA volunteers support a great group of people who meet to discuss the job search process, review resumes, networking, goal-setting, getting unstuck and building momentum, interviewing, negotiating and other important facets of the career process. Best of all, these meetings are free!
Looking for a new and challenging position? New to the area and don't know where to start? HRA-NCA is here to help. Employers-post your available HR positions here and be seen by HR professionals all over the Washington, DC metro area.
Employers...please review resumes submitted by HRA-NCA members. No charge for members or employers.
