Job Summary:

The Projects and Support Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of specially designed human resource information systems and related policies and procedures designed to obtain, record, and process employee information. Includes the ability to recommend, implement, and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the system.

 

The position will be within Enterprise Human Resource Data Systems of the ARC Human Resources Department. The position will be responsible for managing 3 senior system analysts with varying and multiple responsibilities and combines Human Resource knowledge with information retrieval skills. The individual holding the position may work at sites other than at National Headquarters

 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for directly managing 3 Senior System Analyst positions and any contractors assigned for special projects.

 

The manager will interface with senior systems analysts, ADP (outsourcing vendor) and users to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of end users within the organization.

 

Responsible for the development of product/service specifications and test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out.

 

Requires the ability to retrieve employee data to produce information for analysis and decision making, develop statistical data and other employee-related reports as required. Maintains, develops, and revises all manuals, tables, code lists, and documentation.

 

Will support all ADP outsourced applications and related interfaces. May require general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program.

 

The manager is responsible for building relationships and collaborating with ADP, managers within HR and the Finance Department’s payroll section to streamline the flow of HR transactions.

 

Qualifications:

College degree or related experience plus minimum seven (7) years direct experience with an HRIS systems plus a minimum of three (3) years supervisory is required. Experience supporting human resource business applications is required. Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills are crucial. Must possess the analytical ability to focus on minute details while remaining cognitive of the big picture. Must be able to handle extremely sensitive personnel data with highest level of confidentiality. Ability to build working relationships with vendor and staff at all levels is essential. Advanced Excel, Access and Word skills required as well as the ability to create Ad Hoc reports from the HRIS system is required. Knowledge of ADP EV5 HRIS (or PeopleSoft) and Enterprise e-TIME is desired.
