  • Officers for Program Year Approved Overwhelmingly
  • The recommended slate of candidates for officers for the program year July 2005 - June 2006 was overwhelmingly approved.

    • Of 148 votes cast only two were not counted because they arrived well after the April 30 deadline.
    • Of the 146 ballots tabulated, 143 voted for the recommended slate; two ballots were not marked as to the officer selections; and one contained a write in for President-Elect.

    Similarly, the proposed bylaw amendments were approved by huge margins:

    • 129 votes for the first amendment, with 12 voting against it;
    • The second amendment received 131 favorable votes with 5 in the negative column.

    Based on these results, along with the initial tabulations, I am more than comfortable certifying the results.

    Peter Eide, Chairman, Nominating Committee.
