HRA-NCA's
60th Anniversary Celebration |
|
On June 9th HRA-NCA members gathered at the Ritz- Carlton,
Pentagon City to honor our 60th Anniversary. The event
inducted the new board of directors, celebrated our outgoing
board, and commemorated the efforts of our volunteers over the
last 60 years. Special recognition was given to the retirement
of Martha Heisel, past President and current administrator of
the association. Also honored were retiring board members
Lynne Sport and Tricia De Blander.
The event was a
true gala affair - for 2 hours the opulent ballroom buzzed
with the excited laughter, conversation, and celebration of
over 100 members. Adding to the excitement were the sweet
sounds of Phaze II, the live jazz band, and the delicious
selection of hors d'oeuvres and bar
cocktails.
