Helios HR
Apollo Awards |
|
HRA-NCA proudly partnered with three Washington
metropolitan chapters of the Society for Human Resource
Management (SHRM) and Helios HR, in support of the first ever
2007 Helios Apollo Awards™.
The Helios Apollo Awards recognized organizations that
promote a continuous learning environment as part of their
organizational culture. Criteria for consideration included:
1) creating new and challenging opportunities in support of
their commitment; 2) communication of such opportunities; and
3) impact such programs have on the organization.
The four winners were announced at the June 8 celebration
held in Tyson's Corner, VA where each organization was
recognized for enhancing employee growth and development.
The winners were:
"We were overwhelmed by the number of incredibly qualified
nominations. Identifying the top 12 finalists was a
significant challenge for the selections committee," said
Kathy Albarado, president of Helios HR. "Within the finalists,
four companies were then selected as winners of the 2007
Helios Apollo Awards. Based on the nominations, these four
organizations lead the Washington DC marketplace in best
practices as they pertain to establishing a culture of
continuous learning."
Proudly representing HRA-NCA at the 2007 Helios Apollos
Awards were Carolyn Cuppernull, President; Lori Golino,
President-Elect; Sonya Ousley- Lee, Director and Shira
Harrington, VP Programs and Professional Development.
