Workforce
Readiness |
|
HRA-NCA is kicking off its Workforce Readiness Core
Leadership committee in 2008 with a series of Job Shadowing
(See article above) events in partnership with Bell High
School in the District. If you and your organization are
interested in joining our committee to identify initiatives
that support the community in preparing students for the world
of work, please email cbgurne@aristotlecentral.com.
Workforce
Readiness is a great concern of employers as they look at
talent/skill needs in the 21st Century. The human resource
community has the potential of providing leadership to
schools, parents, and students in communicating the skills
(personal, technical, and interpersonal) that employers will
be seeking; and supporting the student in developing these
skills.
